I had to move out of my place January 1st. Pretty much the worst day you can move out. Chances are you will be moving with a hangover. Today is Sunday the 3rd, and I decided to go to ToobBox headquarters to clean up some of the crap I dumped off from my house. After 2 minutes of trying to find places to put my crap, I said to myself “F this, this is the last day of vacation, I want to go hiking.”

At first I thought I would hit up the Pacific Crest Trail, but I soon realized that at 7000 ft and it being January, it would be pretty frosty up there. Then I thought somewhere in the high desert, but nothing came to mind. Then it hit me - JOSHUA TREE. I had never been there before, so today was good as any to check it out.
