Someone sent me a link to this video and I was blown away at the entire concept. I’m not sure if they did this all live or if they mixed their tracks on top of each other. Regardless, this sh*t is nuts.

I’m going to include another video that is similar to this song that has really good lyrics:

My dream is for these two groups to collaborate together. If they could do an album together I would be the first one to buy it. If they did a concert together, I would get on the first plane out of town and jet over to the show.

I see a lot of similar themes among these two groups. They both have a thing for robots, computers and aerodynamics. Finally, they are both major innovators and huge influences in the electronic music scene and they are both from Europe.

I don’t even know what the name of this song is (perhaps “The T.V. Show” ??), but the attention and detail that went into this animation is ridiculous. This entire video is based on that old school television error screen, you know the screen that just beeps and has those seven vertical bars of different colors on it (white, yellow, aqua, green, pink, red and blue)? Those seven colors are represented in each sub plot in this music video. As the video starts to get more chaotic, the color themes start to invade each other’s story and all hell breaks loose. I’m sure that made no sense….so just watch it. It’s very entertaining.

I was looking for that “Beaver Beaver Beaver Mushroom!” flash video for some reason today. Instead I came across this old Primus song. I had never watched the video until today. It’s really eerie. To think that 15 years ago, this song was on the radio. Boy, times have changed…

This song hit a nerve with me one day. I was blown away by these lyrics:

“You don’t give money to the bums On the corner with a sign, bleeding from their gums
Talking about you don’t support a crackhead What you think happens to the money from yo’ taxes

Yep - your tax dollars go to pay for war. Pretty simple really. The strange thing is no one ever asked me if I wanted my tax dollars to be used overseas. I personally would prefer to keep my dollars at home, inside ‘Merica.

This song somehow found it’s way onto my ipod. I normally don’t listen to music like this, but the production by Mason is really amazing. I am now a Princess Superstar fan! The synthesizer work (or whatever he uses) is ridiculous. To top it all off, this video has some strange, ironic “objectification” undertone that creates a weird surreal visual experience.

This video is for all you fish lovers out there. It goes out to the people who spends thousands of dollars a year tending to their aquariums and underwater worlds, desperately trying to control the pH and algae content of their liquid kingdoms. You know who you are…
