This Reggae music video playlist discusses a somewhat controversial topic. This playlist lists a bunch of mad Reggae hits from the past and not one of these songs is a Marley song. So was Bob really the best or just the most popular?
All I know was that I was obsessed with Music Youth in high school and Barrington Levy is still killing it…

On my never ending quest to explore the http://toobbox.com site map, I ran into a “Rodeo Themed” music playlist. It’s a collection of songs and videos about the cowboy lifestyle. The first song rules. It’s by Tracy Byrd and it’s entitled “No Ordinary Man”. Check out the lyrics:
Well he rides just to keep his spirit alive Makin' money for his wife and kids He tried other kinds of work But nothing ever seemed to fit Oh he loves the smell of a Brahma bull The feel of leather in his hand Well Rodeo ain't no ordinary life But a cowboy ain't no ordinary man
That’s right. A cowboy ain’t no ordinary man. Well at least not around these parts. What I like about this playlist is that it’s designed to help you tackle the rough week that lies ahead

I really like James Pants, probably because I totally identify with him. He’s got a little soul, doesn’t take things too seriously and loves Arabian Prince. He’s also genre-less which is the best category of music to be in. I mean I guess you can call him a DJ / music producer. But what it really comes down to is he just likes to mess around with drums, keyboards and vocals. Who doesn’t like to do that?

The last time I went to a CRIMES show it was at some warehouse in Costa Mesa and it was crazier than some of the punk shows i’ve been to. The music was so hard that everybody in that warehouse was going nuts, all the girls were shakin booty and the go go dancers were dancing with booze, i even heard someone in the crowd say that he sells drugs on Skidrow (lovely characters eh?). Regardless, no other DJ that night could hold it down like CRIMES so if you like hard grimy bass, girls shakin booty, violence, booze, and all other types of ill sh*t check out CRIMES! look out for an EP dropping soon.

For all those who grew up listening to KROQ and then got sick of it (oh.. around the late 90s) and started listening to underground hip hop like me - 2Mex is the perfect tonic. He has a whole album dedicated to this crossover genre called “Gloria Was a KROQER”.
